We’re pleased to support The Cyber Trust as an official partner and its brand new internet safety app, SpeakOut!

Available on Android and iOS, SpeakOut! has been designed for use in schools and will be rolled out nationwide throughout 2021.

SpeakOut is the result of an exciting collaborative effort involving The University of Gloucestershire and the Gloucestershire Constabulary, driven by a growing need for support specifically targeting 10-14 year olds as they face increased challenges as preteens and young teenagers growing up in a highly connected environment.

To launch, the app tackles the topic of cyberbullying, featuring tools and techniques to help users recognise the signs someone might be experiencing bullying online, the signs of bullying behaviour and how to respond. Additional storylines will be added in the coming months.

Local schools including Newent Community School and Sixth Form Centre have contributed to the prototype development and beta-rollout.

Download it now via Google Play or the App Store, just search for SpeakOut!
