Cyber Security Challenge UK is a not for profit organisation with a remit to address the growing cyber skills shortage in the UK by inspiring and enabling students and career-changers into the cyber security profession and to broadly promote career opportunities in the sector. This mission is executed through three main programmes of work – Competitions, Education and Events & Outreach.
A new CEO has recently been appointed to plan and deliver this growth and the Challenge are now seeking an outstanding individual to join the team as an Events Manager. We are initially looking for a proven events manager to join us on a fixed-term contract until the end of October, to take the lead on designing and delivering this event due to take place in mid-October and support our existing team on other major events and education programmes. This is a very hands-on role. You will work within our events team and have support from colleagues in areas such as PR, Sponsor Engagement, and Finance but you will personally be responsible for developing and executing all aspects of the project plan.
