Steph Aldridge

CyberCenturion and Diversity Lead

Since joining Cyber Security Challenge UK in January 2012, Steph has run many programmes and events. She arranged the Masterclass prize portfolio and set the agenda for the Talent Management group, where she showcased grass root networks and highlighted the troubles of those looking to enter the world of cyber security. These activities all combined to meet the core objective of strengthening pathways into industry and supporting a wider diversity of talent into the sector.

Steph has built a support community which bridges networks both in and outside of the cyber security industry including groups such as OWASP and Code First: Girls and BCS Women’s groups. She also arranges events specifically to tackle industry issues such as diversity, including the highly successful Cyber STEM Girls Days at the National Museum of Computing. In January 2016 Steph was invited by BCS Women’s Network Chair, Gillian Arnold to be the ‘cyber lead’ for the Women in Tech Super Group.

Steph has also been a volunteer of the Chiswick RNLI crew and has been a UKCC Level 2 Kayak Coach working with many charitable groups for disadvantaged or especially ‘gifted’ individuals.
